U-M launches program that could provide full scholarships to Ypsilanti, Southfield students

University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel Friday announced a new college prep program that will give some Ypsilanti and Southfield seventh and 10th graders a shot at a full four-year scholarship to the Ann Arbor school. The program is part of the university's continued efforts to increase the population of underrepresented minorities.
