Welcome to the Wolverine Pathways application page!

Beginning Monday, December 11, 2023, we will be accepting applications for the fall 2024 cohort of the Wolverine Pathways program. The application window will close on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Before applying, make sure you live in an eligible district (Detroit, Southfield or Ypsilanti Community Schools) by using this school district tool and your primary home address.

If you live in Ypsilanti, you must be in the Ypsilanti Community School District to apply. Residents of Lincoln Consolidated Schools, Van Buren Public Schools, and Ann Arbor Public School districts are not eligible for the Wolverine Pathways program.

Please check your application carefully before submitting. Applications submitted after March 1 will not be considered for admission.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You are currently a 6th-grade or 9th-grade student.
  • You live in the city of Detroit or within the Ypsilanti Community Schools District or the Southfield Public Schools District.
  • For 6th-grade applicants, students must have an overall GPA of 3.0 and a minimum academic GPA of 2.8 (ELA/English, Social studies/History, Science, Mathematics and World Language classes).
  • For 9th-grade applicants, students must have an overall GPA of 3.4 and a minimum academic GPA of 3.2 (ELA/English, Social studies/History, Science, Mathematics and World Language classes).

Admitted Student Requirement(s)

  • Admitted students will be required to show legal documentation to verify their home address as a part of the enrollment process. Use this school district tool to confirm you live within Detroit, Southfield or Ypsilanti Community School districts.

Application Deadline

  • Applications are due by Friday, March 1, 2024.
  • Recommendations (a requirement piece of the application) are due no later than Friday, March 1, 2024.
